Faktor Sekolah dan Kelas Dalam Kecemerlangan Guru Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam (GCPI) di Sekolah Menengah: Satu Kajian Kes

Abstract


AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuanmembincangkan faktor sekolah dan kelas dalam kecemerlangan Guru CemerlangPendidikan Islam (GCPI) melalui satu kajian kes. Kajian dilaksanakan di lapanbuah sekolah menengah di Malaysia yang melibat temu bual bersama GCPI, rakanguru, murid, dan pengetua atau Penolong Kanan sekolah. Hasil temu bual inikemudian disusun tadbir dengan program N’Vivo versi 7.0 untuk menghasilkan temadan jadual matriks berkaitan dengan faktor sekolah dan kelas dalam membantukecemerlangan GCPI dan guru-guru di sekolah. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkanterdapat beberapa kreteria penting dalam sekolah dan kelas yang dianggapmembantu kepada kecemerlangan GCPI dan guru-guru di sekolah iaitu kemudahan fizikal,persekitaran, dan kerjasama semua pihak. Sedangkan faktor kelas merujuk kepadakemudahan asas, kemudahan ICT, persekitaran dan kapasiti kelas.Kata kunci : sekolah, kelas, kemudahan fizikal,kemudahan asas, kemudahan ICTAbstractThis articlediscusses the factors of schools and classrooms in assisting teachers ofIslamic Education (TIE) to become excellent. This case study is conducted ineight secondary schools in Malaysia by interviewing excellent TIE, TIE’scolleagues, students and principals or vice principals. The data collectedthrough the interview are analysed using software N'Vivo 7.0 to produce themesand matrix tables related to the factors of schools and classrooms in assistingTIE and other teachers at school to become excellent. The finding of thisresearch shows that there are a number of important criteria in the schools andclassrooms that help TIE and other teachers to become excellent which areschool physical facilities, environment, and the cooperation of all entities inthe school, whereas the factor of the classroom refers to basic amenities, ICTfacilities, environment and classroom capacity.Keywords: school, class,physical facilities, basic amenities, ICT facilities
